A Guide to Pick A Card YouTube Tarot

Written by

I really wanted to write this entry because I felt like people would find this useful. I’ve also been watching massive amounts of YouTube tarot readings and they’ve been absolutely incredible. I don’t see it as a way of predicting the future, but more so as a way of tapping into the energy of whatever situation I might be dealing with and getting advice. This seems small, but having your reality reflected back to you, especially during a stressful or emotionally challenging event, is really therapeutic. It helps make sense of that wild current of emotion that might be running through you, and clarify next steps to take.

Love readings are especially popular on YouTube however I am not really a fan of them. Love is complex and a very emotional connection with someone can be even more complex. In my experience, love readings tend to pick up on certain angles of a dynamic, so it can take several readings before you find the the right perspective to really grasp a situation.

Anyways below is the list. I’ve ordered this by most accurate/favorite.

When doing astrology based tarot, read for the sun/moon/rising.

Ali’s Tarot: She does weekly sign based readings, which means that you watch for your sign. If you haven’t already, I would recommend figuring out your birth chart. Then when you tune into Ali’s Tarot, check to see if your energy is showing up in the reading for your rising, sun, or moon sign. Her stuff has nailed whatever it is I am experiencing during a given a week and it’s been incredibly therapeutic during stressful times. I’ve sometimes had to switch between readings for my sun or rising.

Avalon Intuitive: Omg. Avalon. The things I could say about her. Her readings have helped me a ton. She gets pretty in depth about a lot of complex topics like career, family, your soul’s journey on this planet, things like that. It can be a pretty cool head trip and a lot of the stuff I’ve gotten out of the readings have helped me reframe my life experiences in a more positive way. She also has a reading on aliens which I fucking loved so if you want to start somewhere fun, I would check that out.

Scorched Earth Tarot: This is a new reader and I’m super into her. She’s like Ali’s Tarot, but only posts one reading a month. The reading is always super super in depth and well thought out. She does a nice job of capturing the direction your life is moving in and giving any guidance. It feels like a really intense therapy session at times.

EsoTarot: Eso is literally one of the top YouTube tarot readers. She is incredibly compassionate and positive. Her readings have helped me a lot, and if you’re dealing with a situation with someone who is kind of negative, she shows up like the friend you need and tells you they suck. She does a lot of love readings though, so just tread carefully in that territory because it can over-romanticize a shitty situation.

Firefly Tarot: Firefly is a really good pick a card reader. She’s done a really good job of nailing a situation and providing guidance on how to navigate it. She can get incredibly specific as well with the energies she picks up on, which is pretty wild. Has helped me a lot. Also I think she is the youngest of all the readers, which makes me like her even more.

Minnow Pond Tarot: Ahhh minnow pond! He’s really popular as well. He’s definitely picked up on a lot of specific energies going on in my life. He does sign based readings and is especially great for career or money advise. He puts out an insane amount of content as well, and really nails whatever situation or energies you might be dealing with. For the most part he tends to be very straight to the point and realistic.
